Energy Assessment
Březina, Jan ; Maurerová, Lenka (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The first part of the final thesis is focused on the use of thermovision for diagnosing defects and failures in building industry. Documented history, physical principles and conditions for the measuring of thermographic camera are described in this part. Thermal images of the object described below were used for demonstrating the defects. The second part is dedicated to the elaborated energy assessment for a nine-storey slab block building. In total, there are five energy economic measures developed for the building. Three of those are of structural character and two of those are for building equipment. There are two variants designed based on the measures, one of which is recommended and evalu-ated. The final section is focused on the measurement of slab block building indoor environment (CO2, air temperature, relative humidity, dew point) and its assessment in concern with the current legislation.
Building services of near zero energy bulildings
Fikejsl, Tomáš ; Komínek, Petr (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue will be nearly zero energy. The theoretical part is divided into several chapters. Describes the requirements of applicable legislation of the Czech Republic and the EU and the application of renewable energy in these buildings. The third and last part serves as a basis for part of the experiment. Calculation section applies theoretical knowledge into practice. The subject has become a new residential building in which they are designed to ensure the technical equipment required internal environment. The proposal concerns the heating, ventilation, cooling, domestic hot water and lighting. At the end are attached graphic of energy performance certificates (PENB) and evaluated the economic and ecological point of view. The experiment deals with the measurement of the internal microclimate administrative building type in Brno, with regard to the requirements of current legislation of the Czech Republic.
Air-conditioning for company seat
Halla, Ondřej ; Rubina, Aleš (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of HVAC system for the company seat. Thesis only solves the first floor of two-storey building, which contains administration and storage part. The outcome of the work should be appropriate draft of the system ensuring required indoor climate. Theory part is focused on water system of air-conditioning.
Residential rooms and air quality
Valkovič, Michal ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
The master thesis solves indoor air quality in hotel rooms based on CO2 levels. The first part deals with indoor climate of buildings, where each form of indoor climate is described separately. The experimental part deals with CO2 level measurement in residual room, air infiltration through window and their analysis. The last part of thesis deals with results of the experiment, which are used to design and optimize hygienic ventilation, based on acquisition costs and operating expenses.
Adiabatic cooling air
Horina, Petr ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
This thesis deals with the adiabatic cooling air. Adiabatic cooling is a possible kind of cooling and air humidification with low energy requirements. Experimentally, evaporative cooler is tested with different types of material in order to find out the most efficient and practically useful filling for adiabatic cooling that could be used as part of the air-conditioning equipment in practice. The results are used in the practical part. The project compares the application of air-conditioning equipment with/without adiabatic cooling in the possible design of the air-conditioning equipment for the shopping center. The use of the air conditioning system with adiabatic cooling, as a more efficient variant, is then applied to the design itself.
Indoor climate parameters and construction analysis of romanesque rotunda in Znojmo
Hnilica, Ondřej ; Solař,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (referee) ; Vlček, Milan (advisor)
The dissertation is focused on the National Cultural Monument - the Romanesque Rotunda of Saint Catherine in Znojmo, in particular on the way the interior influences an integral medieval mural fresco decoration. An impact of the interior on the fresco decoration of a fresco-secco type is judged by available information sources, which draw from long-time, mainly foreign professional experience. The rotunda interior analysis is based on long-term measurement of temperature and humidity parameters and evaluated by a statistical approach. An impact of variable input boundary conditions on the interior is parametrically tested in a dynamic numerical simulation. Obtained results show a positive effect of the installed floor heating in the rotunda and on the other hand a negative impact of visitors on the state of the integral mural painting in the object. A final part of the dissertation includes practical recommendations resulting from a postulate of the preventive heritage preservation of the National Cultural Monument.
Indoor Air Quality Assessment
Doležal, Libor ; Fišer, Jan (referee) ; Krejčí, Vladimír (advisor)
The thesis inform the reader about the agents that affect the indoor air quality, especially those related to thermal comfort. It also draws attention to discomfort caused by some of the agents. There are introduced basic methods and measurement procedures of quantities necessary to evaluate the thermal comfort. The thesis is not a direct manual to the measurement of the mentioned quantities but it guides the reader to the most suitable measuring instrument according to the measurement objective and range. Further it provides a review of standards and public notices related to this theme.
Nature in buildings
Kojecká, Karolína ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the influence of the green interior wall to the microclimate of the room. The experimental part of the thesis assesses the thermal-humidity microclimate, the microbial microclimate and the concentration of carbon dioxide and oxygen in the air. In the project part, a variant solution for the ventilation of an office building was prepared. In the first variant, mechanical cooling was used to cover the heat load, while the second variant used passive cooling and direct adiabatic cooling with a green wall.
Energetic evaluation of civil buildings
Pliska, Roman ; Adam, Pavel (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The first section of this thesis describes possible energy savings in family houses. Subsequently, possible energy savings are applied to, and a system revision is presented for, an office building, along with a calculation of the return on investment for the described variant based on notice 480/2012 Sb. The final section focuses on the measurement of the indoor environment at an administrative building (CO2, air temperature, relative humidity) and their assessment according to the current legislation.
